hyperlink a PDF

im using outlook 2000 SP3 and adobe reader version 8.0.0
i insert a hyperlink on my email message(ex. D:\filename.pdf).
when i try to open the link nothings happen but when i try to open with a
older version of adobe reader it will open.

i dont know why i cant open it with adobe reader 8
please help

i already check the Preferences on adobe reader and the display PDF in
browser was check on web browser options

That is rather strange, as you cannot have multiple versions of Adobe
Reader installed. Is it possible that you have (an older version of)
Adobe Acrobat installed?

nope i try to open it with older version reader then uninstall and try in
newer version.

already open now the file
what i do is reset the security on internet explorer.
