Hyper terminal buffer corrupting

One of the guys here is using Hyperterminal in XP Pro , but when text
scrolls up out of the command window and into the buffer it becomes
corrupted.
I have found reference to this in the Knowledge Base but only for windows
2000 and not XP.

Has anyone here had this problem? Any fixes?

Yep , I spotted that when googling for solutions but thought I'd ask in case
anyone had new info.
Only trouble is that this will be for business use and we would have to pay
the licence fee (or ignore it)
