Hi, guys.

We have a huge data base (more than 72k rows and 75 columns) course on two
different sheets, the headers are the same on both sheets

We need a pivot table with multiple consolidation ranges, and we also
looking to be able to select the data you want.

may I cleare?

any help will be appreciate.

Hi

Using Multiple Consolidation Ranges for Pivot Tables, does not always
produce the sort of results you would expect.

Perhaps you could apply a filter to each sheet to reduce the number of rows
to a sample that just includes the data you really want to see, and assuming
that the total rows form each sheet do not combine to more than 65K row,
copy that data to a third sheet and use that for the creation of your Pivot
Table.

You could create macros to make the copy and selection for you, perhaps
using Advanced filter.
Take a look at Debra Dalgleish's site for more information on Pivot Tables
Multiple Consolidation
http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot08.html
and for assistance with Extracting data to another sheet.

Hi Roger,

Thanks a lot for your response, I'll check the Debra's site, our real
problem is that we need select data from few columns unf not rows.

maybe the soluction is use access as source data base or upgrade to 2007 MS
Excel.

Best regards
