I have a huge catalog file that has duplicate entrys for a specific
application. I can use no duplicate because the same part number is used in
other applications. Can someone help me out.

Assuming your question is related to Microsoft Access, the subject of this
newsgroup, you can use a Find Duplicates query. There is a query wizard
available to guide you through the steps. Click on the Query tab in the
database window. Then click on the New button. You should see the option to
fire off the Find Duplicates wizard, if you did a full installation of Access.

Not unless we know what you're trying to accomplish, no.

You have duplicate entries for... what? part numbers?

If you have multiple records for each part number, what do you want to
do? Delete all but one? Which one do you want to keep?
