Huge Email jamming computer

I inadvertently created a 300mb email with photos I hadn't reduced.
The email is in my Outbox by itself (no other messages). Unfortunately the
only way I know to delete it, requires me to select the message then delete.
Once I select the message, even once I select Outbox, the program trys to
display contents of email and jams the program causing it to stop responding.
How can I delete the email without trying to open it.
Please give beginners instructions!!!

Have you tried turning off the preview/reading pane when in the Outbox
folder?

Thanks so much Vince. I knew it would be something simple. Message is deleted
from both Outbox and Deleted Items and I've learnt something new!!!

Very much appreciated!
