"http:///" - What is this???

Whenever I start IE, instead of loading the home page it attempts to load it and when it stops trying it displays "http:///" in the address bar. Yes, that's 3 slashes. If anyone has a solution, that would be grand.

tools,internet options,retype your homepage with www.
(whateveryourhomepage).com leaving out the
http://,,,,,,apply ok
 
you have been hijacked by varient of cool web search.
try spybot from safer-networking.org and update and scan
on easy to try and remove hijacker before more of it
downloads magically from the net.

The culprit is this nasty parasite. Get the removal tool.
