There are several ways.
imho the easiest is with a stand alone
validator.

I use the free CSE Lite html validator from here.
http://www.htmlvalidator.com/lite/

Hint: when you use it, correct one error at a time,
starting at the top of the page, or first error.
Save, then reload and then revalidate.
Fixing one error often fixes others.

If you have FP3 then you can use the built in compatibility checker
Tools | Browser Compatibility
