how do i view the source for a webpage. clicking on
source under the view button doesnt work, nor does right
clicking on the page. On my profile i have all
permissions to all folders. Is there another way to view
source.

view-source:url

eg.
view-source:http://www.somewebsite.com/index.htm

or even include scripts

view-source:http://www.somewebsite.com/includescript.js

or even robots.txt

This is usually fixed by emptying the Temporary Internet Files.

Also, if you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it to Npad.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this.

There may be several reasons .........

1) If a shortcut exists on the Desktop for Notepad, rename it.
2) Some users have reported Quick View Plus to be the culprit?

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab | Delete Files button
Also select the option: "Delete all offline files"
Then click the "Clear History" button, while you're at it ......
Reset the TIF cache size to 50 mb. Click Apply\Ok
