html signatures won't add (but will show in preview)

Hi All, i've created a nice html signature and added it through the normal method of 'Tools - options - mail format'. It will show in the little preview area all fine.

However when I go to send a new email it won't show in the body text. The email is set to html rather than the others also.

Is there any known issues or things i'm missing?!
