Hi

Does a utility like this exist, and if not why not :-)

When posting a message on a BB I would like to be able to select text
and from a right click option format it to HTML.

e.g. I type www.google.com, select the text, right click, HTML > URL
(Blank), and the select text is transformed to
Italics, and hey presto <i>Richard</i>

Any way I'm sure you get the idea.

Thank for any suggestions.

Richard
p.s. If it doesn't exist could be a good Firefox extension :)

I was just thinking that too. But it's not too often that we are entering
text in a message board edit box that actually allows real HTML code. At
least that's my experience with web message boards. Also usually those
message entry boxes also have buttons for entering bold, italics, links,
etc.
