HTML/Plain Text Issues

Hello,

I just migrated my e-mail from Eudora 7.0 to Outlook 2003 (SP 2). I did
this via Outlook Express since Outlook 2003 is not capable of doing the
conversion.

I have about 1300 messages in my mailbox that were sent in HTML/Rich
Text format that now display in Plain Text. You can see this on the
window title of the message, i.e. opposite of the standard windows
minimize, maximize and close buttons. I see the following: RE: What is
going on?? - Message (Plain Text). If I go to Edit>Edit Message and
then select Format>HTML I get plain text as html, not what I want. In
other words I can see all the html tags regardless of format.

My question is: How do I convert the message to HTML? I don't care if
it is on a case by case basis, though I would prefer to convert them
all at once. I just want to be able to read the message with out seeing
the tags.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Where the messages still in HTML format in OE? If not you're troubleshooting

What you are experiencing is Eudora's inability to handle HTML
properly. This is the reason that I switched a few years ago from
Eudora to Outlook as my mail client.

What you can do, if you're willing to put in the time/effort, is to
open each message in a text editor and edit out the HTML tags. I used
NoteTab, which has a toolbar icon to accomplish this task easily.
