Hperlink Underlining??

Hello,

I can create a hyperlink by typing a url into a slide. Is it possible
to format the link so that it does not appear underlined?

Unfortunately, the basic answer is no. However, you can put a transparent
box over the text and hyperlink that to the Web site. Users think they
are clicking on the hyperlink, but they are really clicking on the box.
This works well as long as the text doesn't move. For more information

Can't believe I can help someone with a problem finally but here it goes. I
know it works just not sure if it is the "right" way..: )

What I do is create a text box and type something like website or link.
then right click on the outside of the text box and select hylperlink. Type
in the address at the bottom and select ok.. For some reason if you use the
auto format box in PowerPoint and do the same thing it underlines it but
adding your own text box seems to be a work around. If you want the link in
the middle of text already on the screen, you can just space out room for the
extra text box and move the box with the link into that space. Make sure you
move the link text box to the top. All you have to do then is click the word
and voila! Might make it a different color though so you know which word you
have to click on
