HP2210 Problem with refilled cartridges

F

I tried to save money by refilling HP2210 cartridges. The black works
fine. The color cartridge insists on 'alignment' which it (a) will
not do, and (b) will not allow me to skip doing it.

Help?

In my experience, HP printers hate refilled ink! Epson are fine, I don't
know about the others, but HP are just too fussy! My deskjet (693c) didn't
even like the shop bought 're-manufactured' cartridges, it had to have
genuine HP ink or I was better of with a pen and paper! I got nasty lines,
clogged heads, leaky cartridges - I just gave up and gave the ink set to a
friend with an Epson, who is still happily using it! I did manage to fill
the black one up once or twice, but it never lasted long and I used up sooo
much paper and ink aligning the thing after a refil, it became a wasted
exercise!

I agree totally. My wife's HP 660C and my own HP930C both refused to
operate with "remanufactured" cartridges. We have to use the HP originals,
it is the only way to make them work properly.
