Hi guys 'n girls,

I'm new to XPe systems and perhaps this is a basic question, but any help
would be appreciated. Here's my problem:

- with the Target designer of XP embedded I created an embedded image
- with SDI Loader I created a 172MB disk, which I formatted FAT / NTFS
(tried both)
- The corresponding SDI file is placed on a bootbale USB stick and was
transferred to the T5700 using 'sdi2hd image.sdi /d 1 /y /v'
This takes some time to complete
- After rebooting, I get the errormessage 'Error:Non-System disk or disk
error.Replace and press any key when ready'

For some reason the system won't boot from the Flash drive I just create
with SDI2HD. When I boot from the USB stick, I can read all the files on the
Flash disk of the client. My assumption is that for some reason the MBR is
corrupt.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions??

BTW: as you can see from the subject, the destination client is a HP T5700

Thanks on advance,

Have you marked partition active?

Use NTFS it is easier to make bootable.
