HP Share to Web software

Looks like I may have been affected by "HP's Share to Web Software" in which
I had that folder on my desktop. I see that kb/918165 has article on
resolving issue by going into register. Since I am novice and don't intend
to blow my system, is there some other way to get rid of this software? Then
again perhaps us HP users affected by this on microsofts KB 908531 should be
looking towards HP. Do they have a BB or 800 phone number?

Now may not be the time to learn Regedit.
I suggest you use a .reg file already done for the purpose.

http://patch-info.de/WinXP/Downloads/KB908531_Share-To-Web.zip

Unzip it, extract the .reg file to a folder, right-click it and select
Merge and confirm when asked.
