HP Screensaver not working

I have windows xp home edition and when the screensaver come on the picture
is there but the motions or graphics whatever it is suppose to be doing is
not working. I'm talking about creensavers like beziers or mystify, these
type of
screensavers that objests move when displayed. When you go into screensaver
propeerties and find one to view to pick the view of them is a black screen,
or some show the view and when you choose one and click apply and wait for
it to come on it shows the screensaver picture but there are know effects to
it, it just sits there. And when you move the mouse to shut it off it takes
about 5 seconds to shut off.
A screensaver that I made with animatin is just a black screen when it come
on.

Do a search for *.scr and click on any of the files found. Do any of the
screen savers work by this method?

It appears that they are working accept the one that I made, some take a
while to load while others pop right up.
