HP Scanjet 4470c

I have a Dell Inspiron 1150 and cannot install my HP Scanjet. The setup
software installs but when the application software is run I receive the
following message, "Sorry, scanner could not ne initialized. (Scanner not
found)".
Furthermore, when I attempt to install new hardware, the XP OS only has
digital cameras listed. Suggestions? Ideas? Please any help would be
appreciated!

Did you download a complete set of software from:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?dlc=en&lc=en&product=57956&lang=en&cc=us&os=228

Including the updates?

Dear Cari,

Thanks for your help but I have downloaded an updated driver and software
from HP. The scanner still isn't working. I suspect that the driver provided
fron HP isn't complete. Meanwhile, I'll proceed to build my own.
