....this multi-function machine is less than one month old. I bought from
Costco. It will not power up. I've tried plugging, unplugging, hunting for
a fuse, nothing. Any ideas?

Bad power supply?

Can you not take it back and exchange it for another?

....that's my next step. I contacted HP and they basically said to try
plugging it into another outlet, and try another pwr supply (I don't have
any spares of this type laying around). And if that didn't work contact one
of their repair stations.

Took back the broken unit and Costco swapped it with no hassles. We'll see
if the new one makes it past the 1 month mark... (grin)
