HP PSC 1610 ink refills

Hi all,

I have been trying to determine how difficult it is to refill the HP
96 & 97 cartridges used by HP PSC 1610.

I have tried google for instructions without sucess.

I am currently refilling HP 56 & 57 cartridges and can reset the ink
level by cycling 3 different cartridges thru the printer.

Does anyone know if a similar proceedure works with the newer 96 & 97
cartridges. I have seen comments that these cartridges are harder to
refill and reset, but can find nothing definite.

Are these 96 & 97 cartridges chipped or have some other feature to
hinder refilling.

Is anyone refilling these cartridges sucessfully and can they tell me
what is involved.

Thanks

Thanks for the link. I have no problems refilling the cartridge.
I need to know how to reset the ink levels that the printer shows for
the cartridge.
I understand that it is harder than previous generation printers. Has
anyone been able reset by rotating cartridges or is a chip resetter
required

Thanks

There is no reset available, either by rotating cartridges or an
external resetter.

Well at least I won't miss it as the ink level indicator is burried in
the software, and hard to find anyway
