hp psc 1100 error 1312

I couldn't install the printer.
Mentioned that I had a file of the same name as the
installation. Hp ask me to contact windows as they can't
solve the problem. Windows ask me to use recovery disk
to dissolve a possibility corrupt file.
I would use it as a last resort cos I've all my
favourites in my pc.

Please if someone able to help me.
 
Does the error message mention the name of the file that has the same name?
