I have a new HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop. When I loaded the disk for my HP
printer, HP Imagezone also loaded. The program loaded OK, however I have
never been able to ' share' the pictures to the Snapfish website. When I
click on the 'share' tab, the pc freezes up, then I get a not responding
message and the program closes.Any ideas out there?

Thank you for responding. What they want me to do is load Photosmart
Essential also, and send from there. I can do that I guess, just doesn't make
sense to have 2 programs taking up space when Imagezone (a far better program)
should send.

hp software isn't
very good, in my opinion.
they are very large programs,
take up lots of resources and
are poorly programmed.
in fact, it would not be unreasonable
to believe that the programs have
been written to be spyware as well.
Sony tried to get away with the samething
but were caught red handed.

i suggest to uninstall both
of them and retain only the
"drivers" for the printers.

then use freeware like picasa via
google.com and or the photoware by
walmart since it makes it convenient
to reproduce your pictures as well.

if i'm not mistake snapfish doesnt
require hp software to use the site
because it has it's own uploading
software. And it may also
provide somekind of an addin
for the browser or the file
explorer to make it easy as 123.

I appreciate your input. I was beginning to feel the same way, that the
software is lacking, but they didn't want to tell me of course. Yesterday
they told me that Imagezone is conflicting with other HP software on my pc (I
have 2 printers) and that's why Imagezone won't send. Your idea sounds
reasonable, so I'll look in that direction.
