HP Network printers are very slow printing or not print at all

One new HP 1320 Nnetwork printer just did not print at all or took
about 5
minutes or up even the test page unless I turned it off and on, then it

printed.
I checked my network setting for printer, tried to ping the IP address.

Everything seemed to be fine, but printer just gave up on me.

Now, in the same network, the HP4100N used to work find, this morning
claimed to be on strike to support HP1320N.

Did anyone experience that before or how did you solve it?

I apprecate your help in advance.

Chuck,
power save is enabled for 30 minutes.
I use TCP/IP with internal jetdirect print server.
I can ping and get reply. it would just not print.
