HP LJ 5000 / Win2003 Server

Hi All,

Problem: Test page spools and then displays the status
message 'Error - Printing' after about 30s. The setup is
as far as I can tell identical to another win2003 server
that does work (despite the same problem before on the
working server). The drivers are identical.

I am at the stage of wondering how next to investigate
the cause of the error message and whether the issue is
server config or printer connectivity.

Does anyone know what I should do??

This sounds like a connectivity issue. Make sure you can ping the nic on
the printer, then check settings on the port.
