HP installation keeps asking for msi files

What the flying **** is the matter with HP support? I have never know
such cowboys.

I bought a desktop PC with preinstalled XP and preinstalled HP Image
Zone.

The Image Zone is unstable as **** and regularly attempts to install
various
..msi files when starting IZ programmes.

The installation asks for the disks with the .msi files which I don't
have!

Easy.. Ask HP tech' support I thought...

Talk to chap in India who advises me to use an HP cleaner programme to
clean the
old installation completely off then to reinstall IZ.

I wasn't convinced but did this and the installation promptly started
asking for
..msi files again (and again and again)!

Get back on to India who send me off to an HP site with instructions
for trouble
shooting.

Instruction 2 reads:-

"Locate and select the CD-ROM drive letter that contains the software
CD-ROM in the
left pane."

How the **** do I say in Indian that all I need to solve the trouble
(which is
widespread if Internet forums are to go by) that I am asking them to
supply me
with the .msi files on a CD or as a download so that I can give the
poxxy programme
somewhere to load the .msi files from when it asks!?
