HP Deskjet F340 Scanning instructions

My grandmother just bought a HP Deskjet F340, and can't figure out how
to scan. The HP manual isn't really much help, does anyone know the
step-by-step instructions on how to do this? I would write them out,
but without looking at the machine and the software I don't know
exactly. Thanks!
