What do I need to do to stop the HP Deskjet 935C from printing a blank
sheet at the beginning each time I print something?

It is something that I noticed only since I installed an original black ink
cartridge from HP.

Using Windows XP Pro and a fast computer

Are you using a parallel cable? In some cases, your computer may
sometimes send a new page character across the parallel port (and I'm
not sure what causes this.) A workaround is to turn your printer off
and on.

Check the driver settings in windows - perhaps it is set to print a cover
page (only there is nothing on it)?

Where do you want me to check in Windows?

Start -> Settings -> Printers. Double click on your printer to open the
settings and look through all the tabs and check there is no mention of
cover page, or anything along those lines.

There is. It is called Separator page but it is NOT checked. So I should NOT
get it.
