HP 970 & MIS inks

Have been refilling my carts but find I can't get reds to look red, nice strong
orange color. Printing 6 color bars all colors are bright but red is not true.
Green and blue look very good as well as CYM.

Not sure of this is an ink problem or something with the printer itself. No
changes in preinter settings have any affect on these straight color bars. Any
ideas?

Your yellow ink is not strong enough. Yellow seems to be hard to
keep pure or the proper strength. Probably time to buy a new 6578 and
see if it prints true.

I have pissing around with different ink suppliers and never found one
that gives me a decent red. For the HP 970 I use the HP cartridge on
one printer and a refilled one on another HP970.
One for pictures and the other for the rest.
