hp 920 wireless

I would like to have my HP 920 inkjet with a wireless print server used as
a stand alone printer so that it can be accessed by other computers on the
network. I know the 920 is a bit old (USB 1) but is this a perfectly
sensible thing to do. Will it work?
 
Probably. But why don't you just have the printer connected to your desktop
and enable file and printer sharing so your laptop, or other desktop(s), can
print to it through your home network? This is how I have my two printers,
a Samsung ML-1430 and an Epson Stylus Photo R200, set up. I can take my
laptop into the living room and send print jobs to either printer.
