HP 812 camera

The first time I connected my HP 812 cxamera to Vista Photo Gallery it worked
fine..i.e., it found the pictures and uploaded them to the computer.

After that, I have never been able to get Photo Gallery to "locate pictures
on the HP 812". It searches for several minutes with the camera online and
connected to the computer correectly, but never finds the new pictures.

Is there an update to Vista Photo Gallery or do I have to quit using it and
load the old HP software again...it sucks.

Any enlightenment will be appreciated...I am set up for automatic Windows
updates including other Microsoft products, Office, etc.

I have the same problem with my HP 945 camera. I stopped using the
camera connection. It simply doesn't work :-(
I simply remove the memory card and put it in a card reader and look...
IT WORKS!!! :-D
So dump the cameracord and use a card reader. It won't cost you and arm
and a leg.
