HP 4150 USB not working in XP Pro

After installing XP pro on an HP 4150 laptop the USB port
is not showing in device manager or is it working when
you plug a device in. Has anyone found a fix for this
issue?
 
Try asking XP to check for new hardware, via the device manager. Sometime
that will cause it to recognize a forgotten/missed device and load
appropriate drivers.
