I obtained a new Dell installed with Windows Professional 2000. Now,
the HP 4050N does not work well, as the text on the bottom of the page
disappears. Everything seems to have been tried, including installing
a new HP 4050N driver, downloading all patches for Win 2000, and
installing additional memory into the HP. I do not know what to do.
Any ideas?

How is the printer connected to the computer?
