HP 4 + Printer - Computer Locks us

Using XP professional version 2002 & sbc DSL. After a period of use when
attempting to print the computer locks up. I need to shut off & reboot - go
thru the process of dropping the internet temporary files & virus scan. The
error is Sharing printer failed + 1722 Printer HP Laserjet Plus share name
printer ID 19 type error-Use nt authority\system computer system 1

This will happen when the spooler starts up with a shared printer but the
network is not yet initialized.
