HP 1600CM - driver does not work

Help....

I cannot get my Deskjet 1600CM to work with XP. HP.com
does not have a driver for XP. The driver in windows XP
does not work. I cannot find a fix or work around
anywhere. Microsoft does not have an updated driver on
its site.

Does anyone have a thought?

Try a total uninstall and reinstall of the printer using the instructions
at:
http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article One.htm

Once the PC is rebooted, use the Add Printer Wizard to install the printer,
the XP drivers are built into XP and should work.
