HP 1510 Keeps Printing Align Sheet

I changed the black ink cartridge on my HP 1510 printer for the first
time and followed the instructions which included printing an align
sheet and scanning it to calibrate the printer. Now everytime the
printer is turned on, an align sheet prints. It is using up my ink and
I want to get it aligned once and for all. Any idea on what I should
be doing?
