HP 1220c preview going to another login

This was working but obviously something has changed and
unfortunately I'm not certain what but ....

When I set up my HP 1220C printer to show a preview before
printing it appears that the printer hangs as no preview
appears and the print job didn't print. By luck and by
golly I quickly figured out that the preview actually went
to my wifes account, so if I switched users to her I could
see the preview select it to print and presto the job
prints. Unfortunately this is now the standard behavior.
So if I want a preview and start the print job on my
account the preview shows up on her account.

Anyone seen this and know how to fix it?

Thanks

Dan

My guess is that the HP driver was written in such a way that the preview
dialog box always goes to what's called "session 0" rather than showing up
in the active user session (in other words, in the session of the person
who's currently using the machine). Aside from checking with HP to see if
they have an updated driver where this problem is corrected, you could try
rebooting the PC to log both yourself and your wife out, then try logging
your account in first - this should assign you session 0, and then you
should get the dialog in your account.

Hope this helps!
Regards,
