HOWTO - run as cript while the page still loading

I havea bic activeX in a page
I want to run a script that display some images while the object is loading
Seems that the script dont run untill object is loaded..

why?
 
Hi,

If the script runs before the object is loades, what would you expect the
script to address?

Not the object that is loading.... I want to simulate a progress bar in a
DIV in front of the object, but seems that I cant start the script run
untill all object is loaded?
