Howto: Presentation with fixed format (similar slides)

Hi.
Using PPT 2000, I would like to create a presentation where every slide
has the same format:
Title and picture.
(OK, the 1st slide will have a title only)
I would like all the titles to have the same font, and all the pictures
to have the same position and size.
(otherwise it's irritating viewing the presentatioin).
How can I do this?
Can I create a new slide layout?

No, you cannot add your own slide design.
What you can do though is modify one of the existing ones, e.g. the one
where you can add a title textbox and picture. Click on the textbox, delete
it, drag the handles of the picture placeholder to give it the width/height
you want. Now click on Insert - duplicate slide. Hit F4 the and the process
of adding will be repeated, hit as many times as you want.
As to the problem of the pictures being the same size that will be a harder
one to crack. Have a look here:
