I have used Outlook 2003 extensively as a contact manager by becoming
extremely skilled in my use of categories and modifying views, etc.
Outlook by design is not a fully "relational" database by itself so it
lacks some of this functionality. To offset this limitation I use an
Outlook developer add-in product found at: www.avidian.com. This product
adds a SQL database component that operates directly within the Outlook
environment. Check out their 30 day trial to see if you like it.
