Please be more descriptive in the future. Me like many other long time users
dont get these abbriviations.

Anyway to answer your problem boot from the Vista DVD. By the look of it you
need to remove the partition. Go to Custom and on the partitioning phaze
format or delete the vista partition. Contact your supplier for a cd. You
should have been given a form to order one for about $5.

You cannot uninstall Vista, you have to format the partition it is installed
on.

This doesn't delete the boot manager (in case of dual boot with WinXP).

Try booting with the XP install disk, then at your FIRST opportunity
to do a "Repair", go to the Repair Console, enter your Administrator
password (NOT your own password, but the password created when you
first installed XP), and type "fixmbr"<ENTER>

You will get an error, but ignore it, and go ahead and finish the
"fixmbr" process. This should remove the Vista boot manager, and
return the XP boot manager.

This does work to remove the LILO boot-loader. It should restore your
XP boot loader.

Of course, I could be way off the track, since I have yet to get Vista
installed on my Intel iMac. Just waiting for the delivery of my Vista
DVD from Microsoft.

I don't believe there is a password for the repair consule unless you created
on. I have used it before and all I did when the it asked for the password
was hit enter.
