In previous versions of word, I have been able to view the comment pane with
ALT+V followed by C. In W2003 I seem to have to firstly find some damn
toolbar, and then click on a button on it with the mouse. Mice are for
wimps. We shoudl be able to do all important features fromthe keyboard
without taking hands away from home position. Is there no way of maintaining
this functionality in W2003?
Thanks

Select tools > customize > keyboard > all commands > ReviewingPane and
assign whatever keyboard command you like - eg ALT+V,C

Fantastic!!

Thanks. I'd like to understand, though, why this was changed. The whole
process of reviewing now seems rather less straightforward and logical than
it was..... and why force users to use the mouse. It's OK on a laptop with a
nipple, but anything else forces you to take your hands off the keyboard,
thus destroying productivity.
