How to View and Log My Internet Traffic

I can see a regular flow in and out on DU meter and by my modem's light flashing but how
to put a name to it?
I need a nice little free app.
Tcpview seems static even though it is set to refresh (?) every second. I want to see flow
in real time or at least log it.
Anyone done this successfully, please?

admin tools on the start menu, has Performance. There are several objects that trace bytes in and out.

I used Karen's LAN monitor and saw that I am getting a 42 byte packet in and out every 24
secs.
Now I want to see its address! It might just be talking to the modem as far as I know!
(But shows on DU_Meter)
