How to use Style with Equation

Hello,

I am using Equation Writer to write equations on my Word Documents.
I would like the equations to be always left aligned and with 12 as
text size.

I created an equation as that, then I selected and created a style.

However, when I apply this style to other equations they don't get
left aligned ... any idea why?

Thanks,
Miguel

Miguel, the answer to that question very much depends on what version
of Word you're using, and if you're using Word 2007, which equation
editor you're using. Please be more specific, and I or someone else
will try to answer your question.

Hello,

I am using Equation Writer and Word 2007.
I inserted an equation then defined the paragraph indentation and
aligned it to left.
Then I selected the line and created a new style.

When I apply the new style to other equation, the paragraph
indentation is applied but the equation is not aligned to left.

Thank You,
Miguel

Miguel, there is no product I'm aware of that's called "Equation
Writer". There are two equation editors built in to Word 2007, and
both of them are available through the Insert tab. One of them is
labeled "Equation" in the Symbols group. I'm assuming you're using
this one. If so, your paragraph settings don't have much to do with
the placement of the equation on the line, whether it's left-justified
or centered. What matters is whether the equation is the only thing on
the line. If it is, the default is for it to be centered. If there is
text on the same line as the equation, it's aligned with the text as
it would be in a normal paragraph.
