How to use OR in rule, not AND

O

Orrie

I would like to modify one of my existing sorting rules so I can move mail
from my Inbox to a specified folder if if meets one condition OR another
condition, but it looks like I can only set up the rule for one condition
AND another.

I am trying to move mail from members of an association into a specific
folder. Most messages include the association name in their From line, but a
few important senders do not use it in From, but do us it in Subject. So I
need to sort on two conditions - one that looks at "From" and another that
looks at "Subject"

The two conditions I am trying to use are:

- "from people or distribution list". I specified the association name and
two individual senders' names for this condition

OR

- "with specific words in the subject"

(I could also use "with specific words in subject or body", if that will
work, but "words in the subject" won't work.)

Is there a way to use these conditions as OR conditions?

Thank you.

Orrie

Thanks once again, Sue.

Maybe I should break down and buy your book.
