how to use more than one critirea in a query

Please can somebody help, I have taken the training courses over queries but
I still have a few questions...If anyone could please help me and let me know
how to use more than one criteria in a query, Thank you so much

If you want to create a query where two possible values can match, enter one
on one row in the query builder and the other on the row right under it.
This creates an "OR" type of criteria. You can add many lines this way.

If you want to match two criteria, just use "AND" in your criteria...

While you are in design view of the query, you can enter criteria
expressions in the lower section of the grid. The row you enter your
criteria on determines if the criteria uses " And " or " Or " when
evaluating your criteria.

I am trying to post a new thread. I click on the new thread icon and a little
hand icon comes up. apparently it's telling me no. Can't figure out why.
