Hello everyone!

I would like to put my application in the Pocket Pc
emulator so that I can print screen and show my supervisor
about the applicaton, as well as creating a user manual.
Please kindly inform me the way to create a local database
in the pocket pc emulator (both RDA and merge replication
method). Thank you.

Hi,

I assume that when your application is installed on a real device, it
creates the database itself then goes onto populate it, there should be no
real reason why the same code will not work on the emulator, except if your
application is forced to use a modem, gprs or bluetooth to establish a
connection in which case you may need to provide a means for it to
communicate with the server over a local network.

Alternatively, you could create a database on the device and then copy it
off into the emulator.

Finally, I think you can use the 'remote-control' software that enables you
to view and control the device via your pc, you could do ygour screen grabs
from there. I have never used this tool, but I believe it will do this for
you.

Cheers,

Chris.
