how to use ascend/descend to work with all numbers

could you please tell me how to use ascend/descend my figures so that they
all descend/descend, at present my figures, all ascend/descend, all axcept 1,
which does the opposite

I think you need to rephrase your question.

Perhaps you should post your Table struture, some sample data and how you
would like them to be sorted.
