Ascending/Descending data in a report

Hi all,

Can anyone help me with a wee problem? I have a form that displays task
information from this form I can open a report so the maintainer as the
required informatiion. The report is based on a query (this is done so I
could filter to a specified record) , if I look at the report the task steps
are reversed i.e descending, yet if I go into the report design and look at
the record source data the step ID is set to Ascending, and if I look at the
record source in datasheet form the records appear as I want them to ie
ascending. This is driving me nuts any one got a clue please I can give more
detail if required.

Hi Souchie,

Sorting for reports is accomplished by using View > Sorting and Grouping in
report design view. The sorts applied at the query level apply to forms, but
are not used in reports.

Hi

On the report at design view, right click on the report and click on
"sorting and Grouping" and sort it there and seee if it works.
