how to upload document with doc,rtf file extention??

please help im trying to upload my c.v to a jobsite but i keep being told
that it has to be a microsoft word doc with doc,rtf file extention how do i
do this??/

Well, it will have to have one or the other (.doc or .rtf). By default, a
Word document in Word 2003 or earlier will be saved with a .doc extension.
If you have Word 2007, then you will need to choose to save it in Word
97-2003 format. There is no need to bother with RTF in this instance. If you
don't have Word, then you can create the document in WordPad and save it in
RTF format.
