how to upgrade windows xp home to windows xp professional

I have windows xp home operating system. I have to do some project with ASPs
(Active Server Pages). I know that we can not run ASPs on windows xp . so i
want to upgrade windows xphome to windows xp professional. how to do that.
Is there any site that can give it for free.

Hi,

To upgrade from Home to Pro requires that you purchase the WinXP Pro Upgrade
CD, there is no download and no, it's not free. You will need it to install
IIS, but you may want to look for a cheaper alternative. I haven't used it,
but some recommend using Apache here:

Yes, you can upgrade XP Home to Professional. There is no special
upgrade version just for this, but the regular XP Professional
Upgrade works fine (although it doesn't say so on the box).
