how to upgrade outlook 2000 to outlook 2003 (get error)

i went to install office 2003 on my computer and it won't intall outlook -
says I have to uninstall outlook 2000 first. Why won't it overwrite
everything? Also, it didn't overwrite other programs in office 2000 - just
added office 2003. Shouldn't it upgrade what I have already? Please let me
know - i don't want to mess up my computer.

Hi Neen,
first of all, if you want to use outlook 2003 and use Word as email editor,
you have to upgrade word also to 2003.
You cant have two outlooks on your pc, so first of all, OL 2000 must be
uninstalled,
after that, OL2003 will be installed. But your datas are not lost. It will
be in your new OL.

Thanks! I installed Office 2003 and all the apps installed except Outlook.
So I will go and uninstall it.
